Due to the Excessive Heat Warning that will be in effect tomorrow afternoon, Peotone Schools will be implementing a Common Plan Schedule on Tuesday, August 27th. Because of this change, the Peotone Early Education Program will run its AM session only. Additionally, all outdoor after-school activities will be canceled for tomorrow afternoon and evening. The PJHS Open House will also be postponed and rescheduled to a later date.

The Blue Devils went Orange for our District Opening Day as we welcomed back all our staff on Friday! Teachers across the district from preschool through high school came to our first Open Curriculum Planning Sessions! Teachers were given time to work on exploring our new K-12 math curriculum, planning units of instruction for this upcoming school year, designing department common assessments, and so much more! It was a valuable time to collaborate and connect with colleagues to get a jump start on the great year ahead!

PHS Student Council is partnering with the American Red Cross to host a Blood Drive at Peotone High School on Tuesday, August 13th, from 1:00 - 6:00 pm. Participants can park in the student parking lot and enter through #1 (Main Entrance) or #2 (Event Entrance). Walk-in appointments are welcome. Peotone CUSD 207U held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially re-open the new and improved 1 Blue Devil Drive! The new drive looks amazing, and we are thrilled to improve accessibility for the staff, students, families, and community members of Peotone! Peotone CUSD 207U is excited to announce the completion of 1 Blue Devil Drive. On Friday, July 5th, we will be hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Official Grand Opening at 1:00pm! All are welcome to attend!

RETURNING STUDENT REGISTRATION – Today (July 2), families will receive an email with information on registering Returning Students for the 2024-2025 school year. This email will contain a specific Snapcode for each student and a link to the Return Student Registration Portal. You must enter this Snapcode, log in with your Enrollment Portal information, and enter the birthdate of the student you are registering. Please register your student(s) as soon as possible - students must be registered before being placed on a bus route or able to attend class.
