We are excited to announce that we will be hosting the first presenter in our Peotone Parent Partnership Series on Thursday, May 15, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. The event will feature Detective Rich Wistocki from the Be Sure Consulting CyberSafe Schools Team. Detective Wistocki is a nationally recognized expert in High Technology Cyber Crimes and will share proactive strategies, expert insights, and invaluable resources for ensuring children's cyber safety. We recognize that May is a busy month, but we believe this presentation is especially important as we head into summer—a time when students’ technology usage tends to increase. Resources will be shared for those who cannot attend, but we hope to see you there! Please see the attached flyer for all the details.

We held our second District SPARK Day today, and staff members were SPARKING warmth and gratitude across Peotone 207u. It is so wonderful to have these days to connect through the entire district and show our appreciation for our staff and each other. Staff wore Spark Shirts or anything orange and visited the lounge to complete the Cups of Gratitude Activity. They enjoyed coffee, cocoa, and cookies. Staff had a chance to earn raffle tickets throughout the day for special raffle prizes. Our SPARK Survey was This or That: Winter Edition. See the Staff SPARK Survey Results below! A huge thank you to the Peotone Education Foundation for donating the raffle prizes and treats for this SPARK Day!

Fall Back
What a busy day at preschool yesterday! We celebrated by having a parade in the school and showing off our costumes to each other and then having a party in the gym. We were able to move freely in the gym and go to any of the 10 stations that were set up. Thank you to the parents that came in and ran our stations for another successful Halloween party at the CSC!
