As principal of Peotone High School, I invite you to visit our beautiful facility. You will be given the opportunity to observe our outstanding student body and staff of highly dedicated professionals. The projected student enrollment for the 2006 - 2007 school year is 649 students. Peotone High School employs 72 teachers and support staff to meet the needs of our student population.

The overall goal of Peotone High School is to prepare each student to become a responsible, contributing member of society. To facilitate the accomplishment of this goal, the faculty of Peotone High School has established the following sub goals:

• To enhance the professionalism of the staff of Peotone H/S.
• To restructure Peotone High School by maximizing personnel and physical facilities to meet student needs.
• To facilitate and develop assessment and accountability strategies for students and staff of Peotone H/S.
• To enhance and promote community involvement in Peotone High School.
• To promote positive self-image among the students of Peotone High School.

Our staff will continue to explore methods of improving the quality of education for all students served by our school. If the high school experience is to be a successful endeavor, it is essential that students, parents, and staff work in harmony. It is my responsibility to provide the leadership necessary to ensure that this partnership is a successful venture.
