Welcome to the Peotone High School Media Center

My name is Sharon Soto and I have worked in the district for 5 years; three of them are at Peotone High School. I enjoy reading and working with the students, trying to encourage reading in their everyday lives. I believe reading is the foundation for success in school and in a student's future.

The Media Center has an extensive collection of fiction and non-fiction books for both reading pleasure and school reports. We also have a large assortment of current and back issue magazines for research and checkout. Computers are available in the media center for students and teachers to use for class reports and school projects. New young adult books are now available for checkout. Also, the reference section has plenty of helpful materials for the students. The Media Center is always open for use, except on Wednesdays, before and after school. I encourage all of the staff and students to come and "check us out".
