Welcome!
 Peotone CUSD 207-U ’s Special Services Department is under the direction of Mr. Larry Piwnicki. Our department collaborates with each district school and S.M.I.L.E.S. program to ensure that all students with special needs are receiving the support and instruction necessary to be successful within the school setting. Our Special Services department provides programs and services that meet state and federal requirements for students with specialized educational needs. These programs and services encompass a wide spectrum of individual educational programs (IEP) specifically designed for the individual student. Our faculty and staff are dedicated to meeting the needs of students with special needs!

“The vision of Peotone CUSD 207-U ’s Special Services Department is to
provide assistance and interventions to all students to enable them to become
successful, contributing members of our learning community and society.”
This vision can be summed up in a few words: Identify, Collaborate, Intervene, Evaluate
Our office is located at the Connor Shaw Center, 3rd Floor adjacent to the library. Our office hours are from 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM.
