 Thank you for visiting our website! It is an honor to serve as Principal of such an exciting learning community. Peotone Elementary School is the academic home to nearly 400 students in PreSchool through grade 4. As a staff we are committed to excellence in education for every child. We strive to provide as much communication about our school and district as we can, and we appreciate your participation in this with us.
To help support our students achieve success, our teachers use differentiated instruction to meet the variety of learning styles of the children in their classrooms. We also have an established Response to Intervention (RtI) model, two reading specialists, and a Reading Recovery teacher.
Peotone Elementary School is fortunate to have an outstanding PTO. They consistently go above and beyond in their efforts to support students and staff. Through their active participation they have provided our school with books for our leveled library, new playground equipment, quality family events,and so much more. I commend the efforts of the PTO and encourage additional participation from other members of our community.
We are anticipating an outstanding year of teaching, learning, and academic success for our students!
