 Positive Behavior Incentive System
Caught Being A Devil
PJHS is excited this year to be using PBIS. The students started their year by watching funny videos that reviewed behavior expectations in different areas of the school such as the hallways, classrooms, or cafeteria. The behaviors expectations are centered on responsibility, respect, and safety. When students are “caught” using these positive behaviors or demonstrating good character they can earn Devil Dollars. Each month a special event is planned and students can attend the event by paying with their Devil Dollars. Our events so far this year include Popsicles in the Park, a
Halloween Party, and a Breakfast with the Principal.
Students who support the school by bringing in boxtops for education or Tyson A+ labels can earn Devil Dollars. They cam bring them in to the school store on Tuesday or Thursday mornings before school. Students will earn one Devil Dollar for each set of five labels.
