Peotone Junior High School Scholastic Bowl
Club Description: Scholastic Bowl is a team that competes academically for our school. Students from 6th - 8th grades can be on Scholastic Bowl. Students answer trivia questions about literature, geography, history, math, science, consumer economics, spots, and much more. Points are awarded for correct answers. Scholastic Bowl participates in conference and regional meets. For winners of these local contests, there are sectional and state meets.
Eligibility Requirements: Scholastic Bowl students must keep passing grades in all of the classes.
Time Commitment: Practice are held on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 8:00-8:25 a.m. beginning in February.
Meets: Competitive season begins in March and runs through May Schedule TBD
Fees: $20.00 Activity fee
Procedure for Joining: Tryouts are held at the beginning of February. Listen for announcements at school.
