Peotone Junior High School Math Club
Club Description: Junior High students from 6th, 7th, and 8th grades practice math problems for three contests. The contests award students for individual and team scores.
Eligibility Requirements: Students should be earning an A or a B in their Math class.
Time Commitment: Math club practice is held twice a week in the morning (7:45 a.m.) and twice a week in the afternoon (3:20-4:15 p.m.)
Meets: Momence Math Contest, Kan-Will Contest and Beecher Math Contest.
Fees: $20.00 Activity fee
Procedure for Joining: An announcement will be made in the morning when students may sign up.
Membership Limit: No limit with membership of 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. ( Only 6 of each grade can go on to Kan-Will Math Contest.)
