National Honor Society
 Brief description of club/activity: The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding junior and senior high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service and Character.
Eligibility Requirements: 4.5 cumulative G.P.A. and approval by NHS Faculty Council.
Time Commitment: Must attend meetings and activities, maintain a cumulative 4.5 G.P.A., actively participate and complete 15 hours of community service each school year.
Meets: Meetings are held every other Friday during the school year at 7:45 a.m. in the Media Center.
Fees: $20 activity fee that is mandated by District 207-U plus a $5.00 club fee. This money is due at the beginning of each school year.
Procedure for Joining: Any junior or senior who has a 4.5 cumulative G.P.A. at the beginning of the academic school year will receive an application to apply. Acceptance is pending the approval of NHS Faculty Council.
