ROLL CALL
At 7:01 p.m. President Bettenhausen called the special meeting to order. A roll call was taken and the following members answered aye: Mr. Nugent, Mr. Rademacher, Mrs. Robinson, Mr. Moore, and Mr. Bettenhausen. Mr. Baumgartner arrived at 7:05 p.m. Mr. Virgl was absent.
VISITOR’S LOG

SPEAKER’S LOG
The following people signed the Speakers’ Log: Tom Skill of Peotone, David Taylor of Peotone, and Judy Ogalla of Monee.
OPPORTUNITY TO SPEAK
Tom Skill of Peotone extended an apology from the community regarding the recent vandalism. Mr. Skill commented on the frustration felt by the community regarding Executive Session and the Board of Education meetings.
David Taylor of Peotone addressed the board with the hope that the Board will recommend the agricultural teacher for tenure and support the agricultural academics for the students of Peotone School District.
Judy Ogalla of Monee addressed the board with concerns from the community regarding the Superintendent. Mrs. Ogalla offered to gather all pertinent information and present it to the board members for review.

EXECUTIVE SESSION
At 7:15 p.m. Mr. Nugent moved that the Board meet in Executive Session for the purpose of appointment, employment, compensation discipline, performance, and dismissal of other specific employees of the public body, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee to determine its validity. Mrs. Robinson seconded the motion and on a voice vote there were six (6) ayes and no nays.
RETURN TO OPEN SESSION
At 9:26 p.m. Mr. Nugent made a motion that the Board Return to Open Session. Mr. Baumgartner seconded the motion and on a voice vote there were six (6) ayes and no nays.
ADJOURNMENT
At 9:27 p.m. Mr. Nugent moved that the meeting be adjourned. Mr. Moore seconded the motion and on a voice vote there were six (6) ayes and no nays
