ROLL CALL
At 3:30 p.m. President Bettenhausen called the special meeting to order. A roll call was taken and the following members answered aye: Mr. Nugent, Mr. Rademacher, Mrs. Robinson, Mr. Virgl, and Mr. Bettenhausen. Mr. Baumgartner arrived at 3:40 p.m. Mr. Moore was absent.
VISITOR’S LOG
No one signed the Visitors’ Log.
SPEAKER’S LOG
The following people signed the Speakers’ Log: Tom Skill of Peotone, and Dakota Cowger of Peotone.
OPPORTUNITY TO SPEAK
Tom Skill of Peotone addressed the board with concerns regarding the inconvenient time of the special meeting. President Bettenhausen apologized for the inconvenient time of the special meeting as it was necessary to have the meeting at this time in order to bring all of the participants together.
Dakota Cowger of Peotone invited the board and community to attend the FFA Banquet and to announce the FFA Easter Flower fundraiser.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
At 3:38 p.m. Mrs. Robinson moved that the Board meet in Executive Session for the purpose of appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, and dismissal of other specific employees of the public body, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee to determine its validity. Mr. Nugent seconded the motion and on a voice vote there were five (5) ayes and no nays.
RETURN TO OPEN SESSION
At 6:25 p.m. Mr. Nugent made a motion that the Board Return to Open Session. Mrs. Robinson seconded the motion and on a voice vote there were six (6) ayes and no nays.
ADJOURNMENT
At 6:26 p.m. Mrs. Robinson moved that the meeting be adjourned. Mr. Virgl seconded the motion and on a voice vote there were six (6) ayes and no nays
