I would like to take this opportunity to welcome everyone to the Connor Shaw Center. The Connor Shaw Center is a building that houses the fifth grade students for the Peotone School District. We currently have 122 young men and women enrolled as students this year.
I am extremely pleased to have this opportunity to be principal of the Connor Shaw Center this year. My name is Scott Wenzel, and I have also been the principal at Peotone Junior High School for the past two years. It is my pleasure to get to know and work with everyone associated with the Connor Shaw Center.
The Connor Shaw Center provides a unique opportunity for all of the students. This is the first time that all students in one grade come together to share in the educational experience that is provided for them. We have an experienced staff that work closely with each other to ensure that we provide each student with best practices. The Connor Shaw center has been blessed to have provided for each classroom the technology that can be used to enhance the learning environment.
There are always many activities happening while at the Connor Shaw Center. First and foremost, we have a very active PTO. The PTO will hold fundraisers, Hot Lunches throughout the year, Oktoberfest, a Thankgiving Feast, Santa's Sleigh, and many other activities. There is always time to become part of the fun with the PTO.
